I was shown a different apartment, and I liked the one I was shown. That was why I signed a contract with I was told that the apartment I was going to move in was not available to show due to people living there was not moving out yet.
On the move-in day, I saw the apartment I was assigned to the first time. It was 20 times older than the one I was shown, and it was not cleaned when I moved in. The door lock had malfunction. I called the management, and it took them more than a month to come to fix the problem. The reason they gave me was 'It was not an emergency issue'. How could a door not locking properly not an emergency issue. I felt my safety and my life was in jeorpardy. I had mouse problem in my aparment, too. I have some many problems since the day I moved in, and I lost count of them. Those include unknown white powder in my carpet, constant leaking ceiling, broken toilet, intimidating neighbors, and mold/mildew problem. The last problem really causes my concern of my health and my family's health. I finally decided I have had enough, and set up an appointment to talk to the manager nicely to work out for a solution. But, she did not really want to work with me, and only thing they want is me paying for the buy-out contract fee. I really believe that the condition of the building is not easily fixed by a few maintainance job, the building needs a major makeover, or a rebuilt. I think this Grove is a scam and greedy company. Listen to my advise, don't move in to this place and fine yourself an expensive trouble to pay.

I could not agree more, those are simply a few of the many problems at that apartment complex. The number one issue is management.
