I currently live in Haymeadow Apartments. Like most other buildings mine is half empty. Only five or six out of twelve apartments are filled. The rent(which was just raised) is already well beyond anywhere elese in Peoria. Though the surrounding area is extremely nice, it is definitely overpriced. The apartments are nice on the inside but the general atmosphere of the complex is not. I have lived there for over two months and have only met one of my neighbors. Everyone else seems aloof or downright rude when I tried to srat a conversation. Generally, I would classify Haymeadow apartments as a great place if you are young, foolish with money, and enjoy your solitude/privacy. Their saving grace is the office staff, who may not always be extremely helpful, but are a pair of girls who are not unpleasant to the eyes and can usually be found out at the bars on a Friday or Saturday night.
