I'll second everything said in the last 3 comments. Good location, terrible management. It is the only complex in the peoria area about which I consistantly hear negative comments. I'm unhappy with them since they threw away everything in my storage locker so they could "fix" it. I know this happened to others as well, but management chose to lie to me instead and tell me that I was the only person that this happened to.

Tenents also need to be very careful about billing. Management has a bad habit of tacking on small charges, and not telling us about them until a year or two later. During this entire time, late charges of $40/month accumulate. You can imagine my surprise when I finally received a bill for over $900! Of course, I was told it was all my fault that they didn't tell me about a problem - that I should have known better. (Well, I guess I do know better than to trust management at this complex anymore!)

Other irritations include maintenance such as snow removal. The sidewalk was only partially shoveled once all last winter. The grass is usually seeding out before anyone bothers to cut it. Pool hours are unreliable. I could go on, but you get the picture.

Bottom line, stay away until Haymeadow is purchased by a new managment company. Current management appears to be using any method it can to squeeze money from the complex, captitalizing on Haymeadow's past good name before it was purchased by Mid-America. I'm following advice given in the emails circulating through Caterpillar and moving out.
