Horrible place!

Due to my profession I change apartments every 3 to 6 months, and I have been renting for over 8 years now. This is honestly the worst place I have ever lived. The plaster is falling off the walls, where the cracks are spreading. The gaps under the door allow many different types of bugs to enter the apartment, and even bug spray dosn't seem to stop the steady flow of bugs from coming in. I have had my air conditioner and hot water heater break down on me, and it has taken them in excess of two days to get around to fixing them. In the mean time I had cold showers and a temperature of over 85 degrees in my apartment. I'm just sorry the cold showers didn't coincide with the hot weather.
After you get past all that you get to some of the "minor" problems with the apartments. The stove has no level burners, the shower stalls are changing colors on me and I have no idea why. My toilet no longer flushes correctly and maintinence has no idea how to fix it. I have tried everything I can think of, from commercial cleaners to home remedies, to get rid of the lime stains on the tubs but nothing seems to work. They told me when I moved in that the apartment's carpets had some stains on them, but they would take care of it. Well here I am 3 months later living in an apartment with a carpet that resembles a dalmation. Oh they came in, but their measures only lasted for about two weeks. They refuse to do anything further on that subject, saying that it's my fault that those are new stains.
The management staff looked nice and intelligent when I went to sign the papers before move in. But, soon after they chose to reveal their true nature. They are inconsiderate and seem to have been educated by a chimp at the local zoo. I have never seen so many complaints or important papers fall through the cracks. When I moved in I paid a pet deposit for two cats, but it seems that my contract only lists one. How do I know this' I recently got a letter from them stating that I have four cats in my apartment, and if the unauthorized ones were not removed by me, they would be removed by animal control ASAP. Now I admit that I picked up a third cat, an oversight on my part. But I have never had four cats in my life. And being yelled at by the manager and having my intelligence called into question tends to make me angry. I only have six weeks left here and I told her that I would gladly pay another 100 dollars in pet deposit and even keep one cat out of the windows at all times. But, she refused to budge, and I have since been forced to give up a cat that I have bonded with. I am happy to say that as soon as I leave this place I will be able to get her back, and take all three to a more understanding and flexable apartment complex.
These people are simply cold and heartless. If you like living in apartments that are falling apart, and paying $800 a month for it, this is the place for you.
