If You Are Under 30 DO NOT LIVE HERE

Although these are gorgeous apartments, build seemingly very well, that is about the only good thing about them.

The management staff is completely unaccomadating. During my initial visit, Sandy the manager, was not only eating the entire time, but her phone kept rining the whole time. Then she had the nerve to tell me and my friends this is not a "college dorm." I should have learned from that experience, however my friend and I deicded to rent.

Not less than a month after moving in we got a noise complaint for a "party" we had. In the letter that was later sent it clearly stated there were no witnesses, however cigarette butts were found near our balcony.

Shortly after that we were issued their form of an eviction notice (10 Day Notice to Quit), as was my neighbor (who was kicked out only because his voice was heard coming from my apartment).

Sandy was completely unwilling to explain the situation, and infact put her fingers up in the form of an X in front of my room mates face (who is a United States Marine) telling him since he's not on the lease, she won't talk to him.

The TV system is a total joke. Don't believe her claims of a "$200,000 private satellite system." It's just Dish network. They pay $100 a month for all the channels, and charge anywhere from $33 - $70 a month. Pure profit.

The price is outrageous for what you get. When we first applied the price was around $750 for the unit with the loft. It's not $935. Quite an increase in a year.

I'm pretty sure Sandy is bi-polar as well. She can be compltely cruel one moment, and then act like you're her child the next. It's rather unnerving.

The dumpster situation is horrid as well. Almost by clockwork every week the dumpster becomes overfilled and spills over the top. It is a serious health risk.

The pool hours are attrocious as well. Sandy also likes to close the pool early and then take a nice private swim herself. She has even gone as far as to tell people they can't come in, while swimming. Just ridiculous.

Oh and if you want a garage, take out a loan. $75 a month for no more than a 10' x 15' closet.

Also I hope you like waking up to construction at 6 am. Although they are supposed to start at 7, the guys usually start working around 6 - 6:30 so you are usually woken up to a vehicle backing up, tack hammers, and sweaty men swearing outside your window.

To sum things up, if you are over 30, married, very religious, retired, eldery or physically impaired - MOVE IN ASAP!

If not, STAY AWAY! This is your one warning. They will kick you out for completely unsubstaniated reasons. Oh, and don't live in a building within ear or eye shot of Sandy's apartment. She will stay up late and if she doesn't like you, she will find something to kick you out for.

Move down the street to Knoxville Pointe. They're just as nice, at least $150 less, and the lady that runs them is SO much nicer and isn't bi-polar.

I agree with everything (s)he says about Sandy. I live at Savannah Meadows, the other complex managed by the same company. Sandy has been horribly unnaccomadating for me breaking my lease, and continually tells me things that are clearly not written in my lease. I have had to call her out on several major things (like breaking my lease), and she will not respond and say sarcastic comments back to you. (S)He is 100% accurate about being under 30 and living here, she clearly wants these places to be retirement homes. I have an elderly couple that lives in the same building and she treats them like royalty. I hate Sandy, and this should serve as your SECOND warning not to live in an apartment managed by her.
