I lived in the old bradley university neighborhood for 4 years. Too close to the ghetto of Peoria, and everything was old and falling apart. VH is great compared to anything in that area. The apartments were built in the 70s, but are updated with new appliances. Central AC is great. My apartment had all brand new appliances, dishwasher, fridge, and higher end stove/oven. They still had the manuals inside of them when I moved in. Outer doors are secured, and my apartment has double locks. I feel very safe here. My 3rd floor corner apartment doesnt share any walls with my neighbors so its very very quiet. This place is spacious and very peaceful at night. Amy in the office is awesome. She will get stuff done for you ASAP. Maintanence will fix broken things correctly the first time every time. My friend also lives in the complex, his AC went out. He called at 10am to report it, fixed by 3pm the same day. I don't work for NHS, the company that owns/manages versailles, so this review is totally unbiased. Application process is pretty strict, they don't let junk tenants in , so its pretty much crime free, and people with moderate incomes. No broke thieves here. If you need a place, and if there's space, this is the place to be.
