I have live d here for the past two years. The management and maintance are a problem at this complex. The manager and head of maintance are married and a leasing agent and another mainance worker are also married. So you cannot complain about maintance issues because of the nepotisum. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner. The water heater in out apartment has not worked properly for 6 months and finally got replaced after several complaints and a threat to call corporate office; which I could not get corporate number or address because they refused to give it out. The washer and dryers that they say in their brochure are in every building have not worked since I have lived here and when asked to get them fixed they say we are getting new ones at the end of the month but the end of the month never comes and they have been saying this for two years now. The pools are another issue; They also state they have two pools in their brochure and one has not been open for three years and last summer the one pool was open less than a month and was shut down the rest of the summer due to broken pump. The amenities that are offered in the brochure are not actually functional and have not worked since I have moved in two years ago. I moved into this complex because of this. Snow removal according to office is not their resposibility and you have to dig yourself out. If you plan to move here buy a shovel just in case ha ha!! I would also ask the office about the high utilities and ask to see recent bill of current residence. I would not recommend anybody live here as long as current managment and maintance are here. Also this past year we have had several rapes in the complex and a shotting at the clubhouse which since then we can no longer use. When asked about security or patroling officers, they tell us we don't have the funds to add security even though this complex is one of the biggest and one of the most expensive complexes in the city of peoria. They also state we have a police officer that lives here but he is not going to do anything because this is where he lives he does not want any retaliation. That gets us nowhere.
