I moved in here from Haymeadow Apartments. That place was a disaster. They have new management, but the ones that they had before....bad news.

We mostly moved because I adopted a big dog and they let her live there. We lived there for about five months before we moved back to Minnesota. We definitely would have stayed there for a longer period, but I missed my family. At Haymeadow, we constantly got yelled at by the neighbor downstairs because we....GASP....walked around upstairs. Oh no. Anyway, we moved to a lower level apartment so that we could walk around as we pleased. We never heard the upstairs neighbor walking around, so it's pretty well insulated in that regard. We had new cupboards and new vanities and sinks, so that was great. For awhile, I was by myself a lot as my boyfriend was out of town on business. I never felt scared or unsafe.

I loved walking my dogs on the property too. They have a neat little river with walking bridges crossing it. I guess the only issue I had was with the parking lot. It needed to be repaired and when it got done, the pipes for water underneath the parking lot broke, causing all their hard work to be ruined. That was a minor pain, but it couldn't be helped. On my last night living there, I had the company turn off the power, but they did it too early. The after hours maintenance man was very kind about it and the managers were too. I know that was a pain, but they took it gracefully. This was my first time moving out of an apartment and I did it all on my own, and I think they understood. At least, I hope they did.
