It's easy to 'vent' on this review website. Overall, this is a good place to live. If you prefer not to hear your neighbors, rent in the Northpoint bldg, 4-floors. Colonials have nice unenclosed balconies with well-kept courtyards. But you can hear neighbors between floors.
Yes, it is like living in a 3rd world country; wasn't so much so when I moved in. Now the numbers of folks with small families dominate my bldg. Units with Fireplaces are very nice in winter. Heat is free and in good working order. saves you $ on utilities.
The Maintenance crew is responsive and on-site. They know how to fix things. They are visible on the property. WHen I had problems with noise or door slamming at backdoor of bldg, they tried to remedy situation. Since I lived at the frontage rd of property where pkg lot is located, there were always people coming & going, slamming car doors, on their cell phones, etc. Too much foot traffic for me.

Make sure you see your unit before you move in. I was unable to see the unit I rented; was shown a vacant unit just like the one available, only people occupying it at Time I was looking. WOuld not have moved in to a unit near entryway to bldg.
Rent increases: yes. What place doesn't have them' They are consistent and after so many yrs of renting, paying a landlord his increases, I'm going to buy a condo.

Grounds are well-kept; nature-surroundings. There are issues with water mains breaking - one last winter (major for people in that bldg) and now when we have to boil water for couple of days. Only happened one time in my 2 yrs there.

Staff is responsive, they try to accommodate, depends on personal commitment to excellence of the person you are talking to. Staff changes a lot.
Good location major roads, but far from foodstores.
if you want quiet, live in the 3 story bldgs.

<> No, dingbat. the heat is hot water radiant heat. Do you pay for water here? do you pay for gas to heat the water?? No on both counts. what is with you people who don't even know what kind of heat you live with?

Actually the heat is not electric. You do not have to pay for the heat. If it was electric I am sure my bill would be well over $100 a month. I don't believe that the people who are rating these apartments are being fair. I understand that you may have had some issues with something or another. They can't please everybody. The apartment complex is a quiet place to live. They are now installing either new windows or window installation. I can't remember which one. If you are having an issue in the Winter where the cold air is getting in like I did, just call the office and they can put some stuff on your windows to keep the cold air out. If you don't ask, then you don't know what they can do for you.
