I've been a resident for a while. I talk to a lot of the other residents that live her, and I know most of the people in the office. This is a nice place to live. The apartments are huge and well maintained. The maintanence staff can always be seen around the property cleaning and working on things. They will even go out to your apartment on the weekend to fix stuff. I have always rented apartments, and I've never been anywhere that vacuums the hallways everyday. At least once a month, you'll see wet paint signs on the doors and hallways where they touch it up.
I have read most of the reviews on this website and it makes me really angry to hear people talk about the residents like that. It is true that there are a lot of foreigners here, but let's get real people; we're in chicago. There are foreigners everywhere. The gym we have is small, but the leasing office worked out an arrangment with a gym up the street that has everything. You can go there for pretty cheap. The management isn't that bad either. There are three people that have been there since I moved in, which is almost two years. I don't know why people are complaining about the prices when the apartment community down the street is asking for almost two hundred dollars more than here, and their apartments are smaller. If you are reading these reviews and thinking about moving to Briarwood, remember that people who live here that are happy don't usually think about writing reviews. It's only the people who feel like they need to vent. You can't take someone seriously if they are making racist comments towards other people. And I''m pretty sure that most of the bad reviews are from one person.

Briarwood Terrace is a Gypsy Nig*er dump. These gypsy nigg*rs just love stealing and using the government for public aid. The more food stamps these nig*ers consume the happier they get . If the staff was intelligent they would encourage these infidels to cleanse each other. Lets face it, who enjoys being around a bunch of filthy degenerate low-life unkempt gypsy nig*ers.
