I have had toooo many problems to name regarding the management at Cedar Ridge Apartments!! I was moving from downstate to Cedar Ridge Apts and I was told five days prior to my move-in date (when I called to verify the process of receiving my apt. keys)that the apt. may not be ready in time!!!

They told me at this time that my apt. needed to be gutted out and totally remodeled!!



Because of this I had to pay for a one bedroom apt in a different building with three bedroom worth of furniture and boxes while they repaired my three bedroom apartment. I lived out of boxes for two months!!! Every week the management told me that my apartment would be ready after I called them to find out the status!!



I had to have all of my belongings moved again for the second time when my apartment became available. They offered NO reimbursment for my troubles!



Currently I am having a problem getting my security deposit returned to me because I had a roommate. My roommate resigned the lease and I moved. The management is telling me that the security deposit remains with the apartment so I cannot be forwarded my half regardless of the fact that my roommate has another roommate! They say that I have to wait until my roommate moves from the complex!!



Needless to say, I have no choice except to pursue legal action !
