Cedar Ridge is a beautiful complex. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is extremely pleasant. Cynthia, in particular, made sure my move in transition went as smoothly as possible. The complex hosts a free bbq in the summer. Since there is a senior building on the property, noise is NOT tolerated whic is a great thing. Cedar Ridge offers payment flexibilty with a generous 1st-5th due date and online payment options. Within walking distance to the Metra trains and not far from the expressway (I-57). The only issue that I did have with the place was the water hearters in the closet. It took up alot of space that I couldve been using for clothes and shoes. And it also made noises periodically, which could become a nuisance sometimes at night. Cell phone users that rely solely on their mobile phones should not opt to stay on the first floor because its underground and I hardly ever had any reception in my apartment. Other than that, I would definitely recommend that potential renters consider this place.
