Having resided at Park Towers (formerly Lioncrest Towers) for the last three years I find it to be the best in the South Suburbs.
They have polite, professional, and helpful staff. The maintenance men are prompt (if you tell them 8 am, they will knock on your door at 8 am), and very polite.
The complex is located literally minutes (walking) from the Richton Park Metra station. However, there is no PACE service in Richton Park, so getting around in Richton Park will require use of an automobile. The complex is, however, conveniently in walking distance from two small outdoor shopping plazas, so not having a car isn't a complete disaster.
The grounds have recently been upgraded and the owner is slowly incorporating this into the apartments.
I recently moved into a one bedroom apartment and find it to be extremely spacious.
The swimming pool will soon be replaced with a community center, fitness room, and new office of the building. This is a very good idea as no one really used the pool anyway.
The laundry facilites are conveniently located on the 4th floor of each of the buildings and there are garbage chutes as well (no long treks in the winter snow to discard our garbage).
There are ample spaces for parking, but after 9 PM, the spaces closest to the buildings are usually filled, leaving one to search for a space in the back of the building.
The neigborhood is a changing area which means the complex will have to beef up its security to protect its residences. This is something we have discussed at great length with management who assures that in the future, there will be security cameras and other features implemented for our protection.
Lioncrest Towers is a luxury apartment complex and the best of its kind in the area.

It's o.k. here. The rent is always increasing at least $35 yearly. Metra users always park in our lot and management does nothing about it. This review reads like someone from Park Towers wrote it. It's just too good to be true.
