Still Waiting

The staff is wonderful, but the property is going down! Section 8 people are moving in by the droves, parking is not monitored, there is no fitness center (although promised 1 1/2 years ago) and advertised on Rent.com and in the brochures they give you when you move in! Garbage is allowed to sit outsite in the front of the building and ride on the elevators, and after 3 years the pool still is not fixed, and parking is NEVER monitored.
In all fairness to the staff, they are wonderful, but management is slow on everything except increasing your rent (increases by 5%, just in case you are wondering) While the apartments are nice, the dishwashers and stoves are OLD and should be replaced. I will be moving when my lease is up next year. With the increases, Section 8, slowness of work to be done, and lack of parking, it is just to costly for the lack of things listed.
P.S. They are building parking garages that you can get for a small sum of $100 per month in addition to the high rent you are already paying, but what about the club house and the pool' Perhaps in another 3 years if you are lucky. While Park Towers has real beauty, it is being destroyed by their desire to be at full capacity no matter who moves in!
Think again before renting!
