I really lucked out on finding Beacon Hill. I was relocated for my job and I didn't think I would find anything decent in my price range. I was able to find a TWO bedroom with a balcony for under 500 bucks a month. I had so much extra space! It was really nice, especially coming from Michigan where any halfway respectable place is at least $700.
There was an incident where my sink backed up and flooded my entire bathroom. Luckily, the maintenance guy came in the same day I called and had it fixed and dried by the time I got home from work. I was so relieved!
So if anyone is interested in living in Rockford, I suggest Beacon Hill. They made a nice home for me.

Let me say that every glowing review of this hole has to be phony and written by an employee of Beacon Hill or Edward Rose and Sons who just so happen to have their headquarters in Farmington Hills MICHIGAN!?@# WTF?(didn't the guy who wrote this review say he was from MICHIGAN? HMMM?) This was obviously written by them to boost their rating on this website. This place is a $hit Hole!!!! Believe it, DON'T RENT HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. This place is a dump and you will get ripped off either by the criminals on the maintenance staff or by the unfounded extra fees they tack onto your rent every month. My wife and I started going month to month after our lease was up because we were sick of this hole and planned to move but unfortunately I lost my job right after and we were forced to stay longer. So now BEACON $HIT HOLE charges me close to $700 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. They have jacked my rent close to $50 bucks a month since we started the month to month thing. I am finally moving in a couple weeks and since these crooks are gonna keep my deposit no matter how nice I leave the apartment or $hit Box as I call it, I will be moving out in the middle of the night and will not tell them where I am going.
