I loved Beacon Hill!!! The price was unbelievable and being surrounded by green grass and trees was much more pleasant than loud highways and buildings. I would return there in a heart beat if I ever needed to rent again; however, it's VERY important to be picky about which building you go to.

There are 12 buildings in Beacon Hill and they are also under the same management as Great Oaks that has another 10 buildings. There is a clear distinction between safety/noise in Great Oaks to Beacon Hill. (NO NO NO to Great Oaks) There are a variety of people living in the area, so scoop out your building first before you sign a lease to a specific apartment.

I got very lucky and didn't have any problems with noise, drunks, car theft, or feeling unsafe. People say their cars have been broken into, but it's all about common sense.....don't leave expensive items in your car at night. I think it's worth lugging stuff up to the third floor to avoid noise issues (the buildings are pretty old), and a back view is so much prettier (and probably quieter as well).

I don't know if I would suggest the apartment complex for families for a permanent residency, because there are some registered sex offenders in Great Oaks......and just the thought of them being minutes away would force me to not let my kids play outside or ride their bikes around.

hey im supposed to be moving to beacon hill on sunday and i just want to get some feedback on the apt from those w/ good and bad experience...when i visited everyone was very pleasant and the apts look very nice. i do know about the sex offenders as far as you know are there any in beacon hill or just at great oaks? I would not pay any mind to whoever wrote this email. They obviously work for the property. This place is a dump and I believe the last time I checked the sex offender list there were several living here. I would never let your kid out of your sight in this place. These people are slimeballs who will tell you anything you want to hear until you sign your soul away on that lease. Please find another place.
