I have lived here for a year and WAS suppossed to be moving out at the end of this month. I turned in my 30-day notice 2 days late and they told me I have to continue on for another month. Unfortunatly, I can't fight it because it is in my lease. I tried to make a deal, told them they could keep my security deposit, but to no avail. "Buck" in the main office was a jerk about it the entire time.

The apartment was gross. They say they clean the carpets but I have a stain that looks like it's right out of a murder scene. Maintainince is a joke. They will walk right in without knocking...if they even show up. I had one of them leave a tool belt in here and the next day it was gone. They came in and didn't even leave a note. I have raccons living in the roof and "Buck" said there was nothing he could do about it. There has been a car in the parking lot up on a jack for 2 months now. They hardly ever plow/shovel and when they do its a half-assed job.

My "security doors" don't even close, let alone lock. There have been a few days when I've left for work and seen a car with a busted out window and glass on the ground. I have a friend who lives in building 2, someone clibmed onto their balcony on the 3rd floor to break in. I hear gunshots about once a month. Every night my windows are shaking from ------ rap music. Not to mention, when I was sitting on my balcony durning the summer, some black woman walked by and said "You gonna die tonight cracka" for no reason. All I was doing was sitting outside smoking a cigarette.

The laundry sucks. When I go to the laundremat I only spend about 1/4 of what I do when I do it here. Also, my laundry is usually still dirty when I do it here. I have one friend who won't come out here because her uncle got killed here a couple years back. Beacon Hell is just a glorified ghetto.

My neighbor had their car stolen in broad daylight. Luckily they didn't have any gas so they only got about a mile before the car died. I was also told by a cop that the state is moving a lot of section 8 people out here because of the projects closing down. This place may have been decent a few years ago, but there is nothing good left here. I'm just going to pay for the next month, get my final reading on the gas and electric, and move the fu(k out!

Seriously, I would rather kill myself than live here any longer!

my question is....DO U HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST ------- AMERICANS?? Majority of the problems you have stated, rap music, some BLACK woman, section 8, refer to ------- Americans. I lived in beacon hell as well and I saw my share of troublemakers, white, black, hispanic and to be honest i never thought of one race making more problems than the next. As a matter of fact, one of my neighbors, who was white, had his vehicle vandalized and radio stolen by another WHITE PERSON, so hopefully you are not suggesting we as a black people are making Rockford or beacon hill the hell that it is....
