This apartment complex makes for a good starter, or first, apartment. In just one short year, a person moving out onto their own will grow to learn about such things as drug dealers, drug addicts roaming the building, unsupervised rowdy children, children breaking the lock on the security door, terrible maintenence personnel, rude and draconian management, fraudulent leasing agents, and a score of other things that make one's first venture on one's own a plethora of exciting experiences!

the other review is crap..its a great place to live.. infact if you read some other reviews to other place you will notice this person wrote the same thing about them as well dont believe true_infinity

I lived in Arlington, just down the street from Chatham, and I have to agree with this review. The whole area is full of drugs, not just Chatham. Hell, my neighbors used to walk over to Chatham to buy their drugs. A friend of mine used to live in Chatham and had nothing good to say about the place. I went to visit her once and in the time it took to park my car and get to the door of her building I saw two drug deals and someone stealing a TV. I went back to my car, went home and called my friend to tell her if she wanted to visit she'd have to come see me because I wasn't setting foot in Chatham Court ever again.

Actually I agree too! First off it is a section 8 property which we were not made aware of when signing the lease. I woke up one morning and wanted to tumble dry a shirt for work and there was a zip lock baggy full of human POOP in it.... Yuck! Fire Alarms CONSTANTLY being pulled, kids running around all unsupervised, Definately noisy and tons of shady business at night, Unclean common areas, rude staff, walked in my apartment without notice ( not ever behind on rent, just for the hell of it) It is a mess at Chatham Court.. I will say that the apartments are spacious, and have 2 bathrooms and 2-3 bedrooms,BUT there are plenty of apartments that have nice amenities that you could live in without the fear of vanadlism to your car and all the other nonsense that goes on in that freak show.
