This is not the place to have children at or for adults who do not know some form of self defense.

The appartments recenty switched management this past year (early 2000.) as well as their name:
Arlington Place.
They at first appeared helpful and curtious, but after several months it changed. We have been unable to get them to properly repair our toiet, which rocks to the left and right at 45 degree angles. When I finally was able to get them to repair it, they did an inadecuate job. They placed a peice of plywood to support it and hence prevent it from rocking, instead of actually sealing it to the floor. They have not repaired a broken storm window since mid August, It is now the begining of march. And the responce of the head manager when I called in to have this fixed for 6th time (probably more times, but it has been a long period of time since I have tried) was that there were many people who have broken windows in the complex, and that I am just going to have to live with it since others have had to.

PLEASE DO NOT RENT THESE APARTMENTS!!!! THEY ARE A DEATH TRAP, AND A SERIOUS WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, AND EFFORT.

I haven't even moved in yet, and i'm completely turned off by these people. First, it advertises storage space, but only if you dish out an extra 40 dollars to live in the bigger one bedroom apartment. Then, they are never prepared for anything. We were told that we could come by on the April 2nd, to do a walk through with the manager and get a move in date and it would probably be around april 6th, we called before hand, and were told, no, we aren't ready. call tomorrow. The next day, no, we aren't ready, the manager isn't in. it is now the 11th, and we still haven't been able to get in contact with those people and still don't have a move in date. We gave them money awhile ago, to hold apartment 2 for us. We have since been told that no, you don't get to move into apartment 2, somebody else is, you have to live upstairs.

but i've also decided that almost every apartment manager in town is unprofessional, i don't want to pay them 500 dollars for the next year of my life if they can't even display a little a professionalism before the lease is even signed.

My husband and I will probably be moving into one of the apartments near to Arlington, but not Arlington.

I lived there twice. The first time was great, but the second... Well, it was a completely different experience the second time around. When I viewed the apartment it looked good, but when I moved in I had broken windows. To clarify, the glass wasn't broken, but the windows did not sit in the frames properly, leaving gaps that insects could use to get into the apartment because the windows had no screens. I moved in during January and as soon as the weather was nice, I was invaded by wasps. In addition, the apartment was infested with spiders... I'm not talking about tiny little house spiders either. I mean large spiders that are supposed to live outside. My ceiling leaked and was starting to collapse. I had to ----- about it four times before they did anything, and even then all they did was move me to another apartment. And in THAT one the water heater flooded the apartment... Twice. And it took them well over a week to get someone from maintenance to check it out. By the time they showed up the carpet was dry and starting to smell moldy... But they said they didn't smell anything at all. I had loud neighbors that smoked weed on a regular basis, which drifted into my apartment and made me sick. I had neighbors across the hall that used heroin and smoked crack. I would never, ever, ever want to live there again and wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.
