The price was fine. We somehow managed to get one that had nice carpet and linoleum compared to some of the others. Some of the neighbors would have some loud, rowdy people over almost weekly and were very inconsiderate of EVERYONE else smoking in the hallways and screaming down the stairs. It takes calling them three times to get anything fixed. My electricity in the bathroom went out and it took them a day and a half to fix it. The plumbing took three different days and tools because they kept not bringing the right tools to fix. The dishwasher was broken for weeks before being fixed. And then there was the a/c. The A/C went out while we were trying to MOVE out. It was 95 degrees. And a Saturday afternoon. I called and reported it and they said they would send someone out. What they NEGLECTED TO MENTION was they were going to send someone out on MONDAY because A/C wasn't considered an emergency, which I found out on Sunday. I had to sleep elsewhere for the last WEEK of living there because it was too hot in my apartment and I have asthma. The A/C wasn't fixed when I left. Each day was another excuse. And they said they couldn't consider A/C an emergency unless I had a doctor note saying I had asthma on file with them, which is NOT in the contract. They just completely blew me off. And when I asked what they are going to do to make it up to me that I couldn't be in my own apartment that I was paying for for a week and that I was delayed from moving because of them, they just blew me off. And now it's been 6 weeks since I've moved out and they still haven't sent out my security deposit.
