A reasonable place to live until the furnaces get turned on, the banging from the pipes is aweful!
Also a number of the ground floor apartments have heating pipes in the walls etc resulting in 85 degree plus temperatures even when the heat isn't turned on in the apartment. The water supply pipes also run near these heating pipes and it takes 5 minutes to get cold water from the cold faucet.
The "No Pets" policy is bogus, the Management is not impartial and will not consistently enforce this policy, $125-$300 deposit for carpet cleaning. Don't expect to see that back if you no longer have the pet anymore.
As of 10/15/04 there were no less than 7 dogs and 2 cats in the building.
The neighborhood is somewhat in decline, there is security provided in the form of a coded door lock, but a number of the tenants will often leave the doors propped open for extended periods. Ground floor apartment windows are about 6 inches off the ground and there are no security bars on them, forget about leaving a window open during the night!
Garages are available for $50 a month, if there's one open, some tenants have 2 or 3 while others can't get one. There's no electricity provided to the garages, so you won't be able to plug in a block heater for you car etc or work in the garage after dark at all.
