HELLO?!? Anyone who has enough brains in them can see just by a quick glance that Pump Handle Inn isnt a place to stay unless your cracked out or looking for work as a prostitute....i cant believe you wasted your time posting about this place! What did you expect trying to rent a motel in a bad part of town??? The Ramada???? LOL Youre crazy!

It's too bad you have to have this type of negative publicity about such a nice place to stay. You obviously only heard of the Pump Handle Inn and it's prior problems. You haven't actually spent much time talking with the staff or guests. Affordable rooms at reasonable rates is what they are all about.

The negative reviews has obviously been written by people who have an ax to grind. It's really sad when undesirables who are weeded out of the inn's populat It's really sad to think that people with an ax to grind can slander an establishment because they may have been evicted for cause. Have you stopped to consider that the livlihood of several families is affected by your negativity? Or how about the good folks who have been long time residents there? I'm sure they don't feel the place is as bad as that or they would have moved out a long time ago. All the trouble makers are asked to leave. The building cleanliness, security and overall appearance are constanly being reviewed and upgraded when possible. Rooms have been upgraded on a regular schedule. Yes, the economy has prompted some cost-saving measures to be put in place but no one is allowed to suffer excessive cold or heat or has to go without lights overnight. There are rules about appliances that can be used in the rooms. If someone uses an electric skillet (not allowed as stated in brochure) and also runs a hair dryer, tv and a microwave oven all at the same time, a circuit breaker might trip. It's an old building but a safe one and will continue to be safe. Local authorities have stepped up to help us clean up our neighborhood and we couldn't be happier about it!
