Forget the previous messages you read here, I will tell you the truth. I am a young married man, educated and just recieved a PHD.
This place overall is great but it is going down.
They have extras such as drop off dry cleaning at your house a fitness center with full basketball courts, pools, fishing ponds, and paddle boat rides. Also a center where they let me rent out at a very low charge to hold meetings.
it is a 1 minute walk from places like Buffalo wild wings, blockbuster, jewel, wendy, kfc, and a 5 minute walk to target.
The negatives is that they are renting to section 8 housing. This started in 2007. So a lot of neightbors will be section 8. This is because the so called "non-section 8 people were not paying bills." The crime was going up in my last year their which was FAll 08, mainly high school bad kids, but they do keep it under control. The way our country is you will have good kids and bad kids, nothing wrong, since i grew up on section 8. I now live in Naperville in a 400,000 house, and I see their are still bad kids at that spot. But overall, it is a great place to live. I would recomend it I would give it a 3.8 out of 5. It is safe, When i was thier the loudest person was a lawyer who partied every weekend, IN building 205.
This is a true unbiased opinion.
