If you notice there has not been a review on Highpoint in a while. That is because for a time it seemed they were cleaning up there act. I just recently moved out of this place and the last 6 months were a nightmare. Scarce Maintenence, being lied to by the managers, they screw you whenever they get the chance. There were heavy rains for about a week in romeoville about 2 weeks before i moved out and when i moved some of my furniture away from the wall i found that water had leeked between the wall and the base slab and ruined my furniture. After this Highpoint would do nothing for me about my damaged furniture and then charged me $300 dollars to replace the carpet when i moved out. They did not attempt to clean the carpet even thought they owed me a carpet cleaning for from when i resiged my lease. This is not a good place for children. At least once a month Gang grafiti would show up on buildings and other highpoint area property. The police were always at highpoint on calls. The management there paint a pretty picture but don't let it fool you. The rent is astronomical for what you get. do not rent here.
