Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I lived at Remington for two years and moved out to pursue a relationship. I loved it, but it did seem that after the original manager left and was replaced by the current manager, things have started falling apart. My car got MAJORLY plowed in (that didn't happen the first winter), the hallways started getting filthy when they had been spotless before, the pool was always dirty and never locked after hours when it had been sparkling clean and always maintained before, a disgusting abandoned car was allowed to sit right in the front by the clubhouse, and the quality of the tenants started to decline. I was so glad I had a lakeview so I wouldn't have to look at my unkempt neighbors and their dirty children. My oh-so-classy next door neighbor always kept their apartment door open so the awful smell would leak out, and their ill-mannered, half-dressed children (what a shock to come home from work only to find a naked 5 year old swinging on the banister) dinged my car with their bikes and splattered paint balls on the brick walls surrounding the garbage cans. I was in love with it my first year and a half, but if it kept heading in the direction it was going, I would have been forced to move. Hopefully the new manager will get it together because it really is a great complex in a nice neighborhood. I miss living there. The other review is right...phone calls rarely get returned, even though I thought the quality of the appliances was good. They were GE, I believe.
