I have been a member of the Remington Apartments resident community for about a year and a half now. I had never lived in an apartment before, so I was a little nervous because I have heard horror stories! Nothing to be nervous about at Remington, though! The grounds and buildings are well kept. We are always notified in advance if our units will be entered for bi-annual maintenance and inspections, preventitive spraying for termites, etc. I have not had any issues with neighbors, and it is very seldom that I hear any noise above me. I gave construction a low rating just because the windows in my bedroom are drafty. It can get pretty cold in the bedroom in the winter - especially at night! But that's what down comforters are for, right'! I must say I kept the thermostat at a reasonable temp, and I didn't have any outragous utility bills during the winter. Office staff great, maintenance staff prompt friendly & reliable. As others have stated, rent is pricey, but the location and school district (Plainfield consolidated didtrict 202)make it worthwhile!
