They lure you in with a "rent special" and it really becomes a concession rider on your lease. If you are one day late on your rent once or God forbid twice, then you have to pay them the concession money back. So if they say "we'll give you that apartment for $675/mo instead of $795, plus we'll throw in a free month just for you"...PLEASE BEWARE. IT'S A PLOY TO LURE YOU IN. Once you forget to pay your rent even if it's just one day late and you've always paid your rent, you'll owe them the difference between the "special" rate and what you would've paid w/out the special. That could be over $2,000 you will owe them for just being one day late paying your rent once. I don't know about you, but most organizations will charge you a late fee of say $25 or $50 for being late on rent and that's understandable. The way Springhill handles it is an absolute disgrace and it really is just a scam. They know that people are going to be late on rent and they stick it to you when that happens by taking away the reason you got into that apartment in the first place. Office staff were VERY uncooperative and I would definitely NEVER go back there again.

Reading this review makes me laugh! I used to live here, and the funny thing is when I was signing my lease it was spelled out to me that if I was late then I had to pay back my concession. For me to get off over $2000 it was worth it for me to pay on time. I have lived in many apartments and the place I am at now, if I am late by the 3rd then I pay $75. If I am late still by the 15th, then I owe $50 on top of the first $75. If I am late by the 30th I owe another $50 and would probably be evicted! I guess the moral of this story is be on time with your rent! I know that there are two things I pay on time every month, my rent & my car payment :)
