The Concept of Illini Towers - Illini Towers is a sheltered habitation for elderly/disabled individuals requiring section 8 housing (rent based upon income). They have a day room where "meals on wheels" type feeding is available, and sometimes groups from church or entertainment stop in. Management is kinda snarky. living here for 6 months and the manager seems to be unfriendly. Seems like she only helps those who have it in with her. The only friendly person on staff is the maintance man. quiality of neighbors is sucky.. some of the elder people have really ------ attutides. They bullied me when i moved
