Renting from CH is the worst decision you'll ever make. You will be lied to and ripped off by the staff if you live there; and that s a fact. It has happened to absolutely everyone I know who has lived in this trash heap.

It wouldn t surprise me at all if these unexpected, undisclosed, after-the-fact, additional fees were all part of a con that the CH staff is running to supplement their personal income. Just having a simple conversation and shaking hands with these people makes you feel dirty. They radiate sleaziness and you can tell they think you re an idiot who deserves to be ripped off.

Think of the dirtiest, greasiest, scummiest piece of living filth you ve ever met in your entire life and you re starting to get an idea of the quality of life that works in CH administrative office.

I only reason I didn t run like hell inside the first 30 seconds of meeting the CH staff is because I was in a tight spot. I was moving in from out of town and starting a new job at the capitol and I needed somewhere to live in a hurry. I assumed it can t be that bad and that I can always move out when my lease is up if I don t like it. Take it from me. Don t let yourself rationalize living here. With all the money they will steal from you, one way or another, you could live in a much nicer, safer and worry-free apartment somewhere else in town. Seriously! Do not live here! There wouldn t be more than 50 separate posting on this site alone about people being ripped off for thousands of dollars if there wasn t something seriously wrong with CH. And, if you look at the positive reviews, you might notice that they are all written in the same tone, in the same style, all display the same word preferences with the same defensiveness about the staff. In other words, they were all written by the same person. Most likely by one of the con artists working at CH. That's a sure sign of guilt. They re desperate to cover their tracks.

I agree with everything that halcyonus says above. I witnessed it myself when I lived there. Customer service is very bad at Chatham Hills. Every time I was in the office I had to listen to one of the managers or staff have a public argument with a tenant. In the two years I was there I did not talk to one happy tenant. It has to be the office staff and their friends making the positive posts.
