Sincerity is just a mask.

I would say to any perspective tenant wandering around the Springfield area one little piece of advice concerning Chatham hills. Please look past the signs with smiley faces. Look beyond the same artificial smiley faces they will share with you as you walk in to see the ideal apartment set up to guide your eyes away from shotty construction and four walls-a floor-and a ceiling that do more to amplify sound then ever dampen it.. Please wake up in that moment.
There may be an air of sincerity filling the room but behind the "welcome home" and "we are family" attitude is a different face. The comments stated before, 'welcome home', are just the outer layer you are allowed to see to get you to initial the lease. (Which with the past experience of most people who have ever 'truthfully' lived at Chatham hills will concur is a document created to screw anyone they choose to take for all the money they have.) The true face you see very quickly from those who ran it when I lived there and who are still there today is one of insincerity and inconsistency. They have more of a 'we don't give a damn cause we have your money' attitude then anything I have ever seen in all my years of renting. Do not live here please.
Lastly, I reach out to you as a logical and literate person...please stop and take a look at the many other apartments locally and read the contracts. Most, 60% that I can attest for locally actually read as if they passed through more then a first draft. The contract at Chatham hills is full of loopholes they can use to either seem like the nice people or, as is normal, lay into your pocket book or credit report for any number of money they choose to write on the line.
