Today I went and had a tour at Chatham Hills. I thought the apartments looked very nice. I met with the staff and they were kind and professional. The apartment complex is on the south side of Springfield. It takes you away from the busyness of the city. There are a lot of trees and cornfields. I felt like I would feel very safe if I lived there. It wasn't super fancy, but it was nice, modest, and decorated well (corp housing). They allow dogs of any size which is a real plus for animal lovers. They have a pool that ranges from 3' - 9' deep and there is a hot tub for winter time use. They have 4 exercise rooms which include: free weights, treadmills, nautilus system, and a racquetball/basketball court. They also have surveillance cameras which I thought was a nice touch. If you are worried about safety, the management will allow you to install a security system. There are laundry facilities on each floor. The apartments are about a 10 minute drive to downtown Springfield. There is parking outside for tenants and also guests. Oh and if you want more storage or a safe place for your car you can rent a garage for $60 extra a month. You won't have to worry about your friends cars being towed here.
