I signed up here and get these reviews everytime someone writes them. It sounds as if most are bored or sue happy. One person who writes over and over again threatened a dog. That is real mature. I send people I work with to the apartments all the time and I've never heard of any complaints. I lived there for two years and never had a complaint and I didn't recieve damage charges when I moved either. I send them there because it is the nicest. I also think if you're going to write a bad review, you should leave an email address so people actually looking for an apartment and reading the review can contact you. I think that would be a valid complaint. So...if you're just mad because you didn't pay your rent or didn't clean your apartment when you left don't blaim them and stop filling my email box. Thank you!

Like you, I also get the e-mail alerts when a new review is posted. Since I am curious about what other people think I read them as well. It is always interesting to see extremely positive reviews. In the review I posted after I left last year I pointed out several positive things about Chatham Hills, but was also honest about the negatives. The apartments are spacious, affordable, and in a good location (close to shopping, jobs, ect). Unfortunately, almost all of the negatives listed on this site are true. There is a problem with crime, parking, maintenance, noise, and customer service of the office staff. I think it is a very juvenile argument to say that people complain because, ???You didn???t pay your rent or didn???t clean your apartment when you left.??? I paid my rent on time while I was there. I also paid someone to professionally clean the apartment when I left. I think it would be accurate to say that a majority of the posters on this site probably did pay their rent on time. I find it hard to believe that someone lived at Chatham Hills for 2 years and did not see or hear their neighbors talking about these things. I don???t think you are being truthful. You are doing a disservice to those potential tenants who move there by being dishonest.

What is so childish about the animals. If there are rules set forth for the complex tenants then they should be abided by all. I am thankful for the building we live in most of the tenants are exceptionally friendly; just a few that are rather disrespectful in respect to noise and pet etiquitte. As for many others we see across the "way" and many that drive through the lot faster than the speed of sound - 2 words describe them - "Disrespectful Thugs". By the way what does maintenance do around here? The grounds look like crap. Broken bottles everywhere, hot tub doesn't work (false advertising) Security light not working, decorative lights not working. What happened to management enforcing the pooper scooper rule? I think I end up washing my shoes each time I take my dogs out. No follow through

i bet your a part of the staff ,i was never as unhappy as i was when i lived here ,loud parties ,kids passed out on the steps ,got my front 2 wheels stolen off my blazer ,and hub caps stolen of my other vehicle ,security lights out everywhere ,lying staff ,garbage everywhere ,what about the kids at one party when one pulled a knife on another then slashed the walls in the hallway ,and the hot tub that hasnt worked since i dont know when ,i know since july ,i was so unhappy ,i broke my lease it will be a cold day in hell when i give up any money to them they say i owe without a fight ,some of these things i could have lived with but when it comes to the safety of myself and my family i cant do it ,of course when you complain about things ,you complain too much ,the staff and mang. at this place can care less about there tenents ,its the money they care about and thats it ,of course every now and then they will throw a party ,just what that place needs more drunks ,if anyone cares to email me on this staff included be my guest ,sargncharg@insightbb.com

I don't understand this post at all. Why are you so defensive because people are giving bad reviews of the place? Is that not what this site is for? Its a site to review apartments and thats exactly what they are doing. If all of these postings were ads that weren't related to the reviews of this apartment, I would sympathize with you. Its not as if you were forced to sign up and get the e-mails about the reviews. So whats your true motivation? Do you work for the company? Do you have friends or family that work for them? Thats my only conclusion I can draw from this. Furthermore how would you know if all these people paid their rent or not?
