Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006

I didn't think it was too bad when I lived here. Sure there were times when I felt a unsafe, but I lived in an ok building. The neighbors and their large dogs were loud and annoying. You could hear everything (and I mean everything) that your neighbors did. The place was falling apart, and when I called someone usually came to "fix" it in at least three days time. Little did I know how horribly they "fixed" things. My air conditioner never worked at the beginning of the summer. It usually took them two or three days to "fix" it. Only to have it happen all over the next year. A lot of things that broke, I fixed myself or just learned to live with it. I don't think anyone there really knew what they were doing. But I thought that for the cheap rent and roomy apartments it was worth it. Then there were the strange charges for random things that I had to fight them over. I was charged for a dog that was never in my apartment! Then it came time to move out. That was a nightmare. I spent a half a day cleaning the apartment making sure everything was spotless. When it came to the day to check out, no one could go with me to look at the apartment. They assured me that someone would be there to accompany me to look for damages (something that hadn't been done when I moved in). I wasn't too happy about leaving it up to them, but I couldn't wait around for them. A month later I recieved a bill for over $300 to clean and repair things. When I left, the place was better than when I got there. The writing and signatures on the check-in list that said everything was perfect weren't even mine. What a complete rip-off! They are definitely power and money hungry. I'd think twice before living here. And if you do...KEEP copies of all paperwork. Don't trust them! And as far as the staff writing fake reviews...if they'd lie about seeing a large dog in my apartment, I'm sure they'd have no problem checking the box saying they aren't an employee.

I agree - I was sent a notice I had a second cat. Then, they charged the deposit against my rent and sent me a notice that if I didn't pay, I'd be evicted. That would have been a dream come true after all the horrible things that they charged me for when I moved out. It'll be a cold day in hell before they see a penny. I'm trying to get it off my credit report now, but it's not hurt me a bit.
