They'll let you sign a lease, move in, promise you the world, but don't think about renting here!
First off, neighbors are noisy, rude and there's constant noise coming up and down the halls. The people above us must have run a daycare out of their apartment with all the noise that came from kids running up and down the hallways.
Second, there are NO W/D hookups in any of the apartments. They have ONE W/D for each floor. With about 16ish apartments on each floor, you do the math. If you like clean clothes, you're better going off elsewhere.
They have a beautiful weightroom, hot tub and pool. But if you look at the weightroom, hardly any of the equipment there actually works. Sure, there's a box there to report any problems, but they never get fixed. The hot tub never worked the entire time I lived there.
Workmanship is terrible. The real apartments look NOTHING like the models. Those mirrored doors you see in the models' Forget about it, you get a piece of plywood painted tan to match the carpet. The kitchen cabinet doors came off. The cabinetry, the bathrooms, the walls, the ceiling...it's all terrible! We had a crack in the ceiling that consistenly grew throughout our year-long stay. Never fixed. The windows wouldn't open, never fixed. The maintenance staff and the leasing staff do not care about you, they just care about your money.
The worst was when the sewer lines flooded. They backed up into the apartment from the toilets, sinks and tub. It completely flooded the living room, hallways, bathroom, kitchen and part of the second bedroom. They came in, sucked up the water, put down a "mold-deterring enzyme" and put a bunch of fans in to dry out the carpet. But then the sewer lines backed up AGAIN, so it flooded AGAIN, and they had to do the whole thing again. And then they never replaced the carpet, so the whole place smelled like mold to the point where we were both sick and had to go to the hospital. As it turns out, all that wetness caused black mold to grow under the kitchen cabinets. But they still did nothing. The carpet stayed in the apartment until we moved out.
The topper though was the $5000 bill we received a month after moving out. I spoke to the leasing office prior to our lease expiring and they stated that since the lease was up, we could go month-to-month, which we did. We gave notice and moved out. No one bothered to tell us we had to give 2 months notice. I changed my address and moved to another state. The bill, however, was sent to the apartment I used to inhabit (which they knew, since I had moved out a month prior) and therefore, when it was unpaid, went to collections. I now have a $5000 bill in collections for "damages" done to the apartment, including CARPET REPLACEMENT!!!!, blinds (that weren't damaged), broken closet doors (which were plywood to being with but they charged us for "breaking closet mirrors"), light bulbs that were burnt out...the list is a LOT longer.
SAVE YOUR MONEY, SAVE YOUR CREDIT, SAVE YOUR SANITY AND RENT SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THIS PLACE!!!!!

I had a similar, possibly worse experience, living here. Someone should do mankind a favor and burn this place to the ground!
