I've lived at Chatham Hills for about 2 years now and I love it. I've always felt safe there. There's plenty of parking and the grounds are nice. I have had a couple things that needed fixed but that's normal with any apartment anywhere. The maintenance staff took care of everything right away. I would recommend it to anyone.

Actually no I don't work at Chatham Hills. I know all of my neighbors that still live here and some that have moved and this hasn't happened to any of them. I see a lot of complaints on here are about the paperwork and lease but all you have to do is get a copy when you move in. Or perhaps you should it before you sign it since it is a contract. I think I learned that in eight grade. I don't know the staff on a personal level since I work a lot but what little I have dealt with them has been professional.

To the anonymous person who likes CH, are you sure you're talking the same CH Apt's? The individual who called bulls*** is absolutely correct. I lived there for a year and got out of that hell hole. The staff was nice for one day, the day I signed the lease. After that they were the most rude, unprofessional people I've dealt with. They were not responsive to any of our maintenance issues nor would they let us view our ACTUAL utility statements and wanted us to take their word of a SELF created word doc titled "utility statement." I would never recommend this place for ANYONE. I could go on but don't have the time. Future tenants should look to all of the previous reviews and you will see a pattern of a horribly run apartment complex.

I really like living here too and have posted before. I really like the office staff as well as the guys. I'm not sure where you live now but I've lived in some pretty rude cities before and this place is not one of them. It seems like it is a good thing you moved out.

I had a really good lawyer review the leasing contract that CH uses and he called it the "shadiest leasing contract he's ever seen."
Also, it's pretty easy to tell that the positive posts on this site are all written by one or two people, when you look at the writing style. You're not fooling anyone mwhite.
People who have actually suffered through the deprivations of living at CH will tell you (and anyone else who will listen) that this place should be avoided like the swine flu.
It might be the worst-run and most unscrupulous business in all of Illinois, and with the City of Chicago figuring into that equation, that's really saying something about how sickening the people operating CH really are.
