Having lived at Park Shore for 15 years proclaims testiment to the excellence of this charming apartment community. I have been nestled in an older, but very well-maintained one bedroom apartment in a wooded area with an outstanding view of the Fox River...and walking distance to St. Charles/Geneva/Batavia events. The location is outstanding.

I should be able to cite some horrible problem in the last decade and a half - with staff, noise, safety, or even a parking issue - but I cannot. Mike in maintenance has been here nearly as long as I have (there's not a big turn over in staff)...he has "replaced" rather than "repaired" major items in the apartment...and always in a timely manner. The lawns and shrubs are always cut and trimmed...the grounds have always been kept neat.

I think I felt unsafe only once, returning home late one evening: a possum was resting near my front door and refused entry to me....I merely had to out-wait him.
Park Shore must have a pretty good screening process for new tenants because I've never had a bad neighbor...In fact, I've met some very nice, down-to-earth people here over the years.

If you're looking for "bells and whistles", this probably isn't the apartment for you. But overall, Park Shore has a simple, tasteful appeal that has made it a wonderful place for me to live.
