I wrote my original review after 3 months; I lived at Wessel Court for a year. I would have stayed, gladly, if my job had not required me to move.

It's not a perfect apartment complex, but given the high cost of living in St. Charles, it's pretty good. It's a hell of an improvement over Fox Run just up the road.

I moved in basically sight unseen -- a friend checked it out for me -- and management was very helpful, taking care of everything and fixing a few things that needed it when I first moved in.

I had NO problems with hot water or loud neighbors. Sure, there was some noise, but it was never obnoxious or late at night.

I felt very safe as a single woman. The pool was nice, the clubhouse was comfortable, the workout room was very nice, and the landscaping is pretty. Maintenance was professional and thorough, though there was a day they decided to replace the balcony of my upstairs neighbor at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

A few minor quibbles: no dishwasher, no overhead lights in the living room or bedroom, and there could be a little more closet space. but all in all, i liked living there and would recommend it.
