A truthful objective view

I am reading these comments from other tenants and I just can't believe I am living in the same apartment complex! Obviously, the people who are complaining are either not suited to apartment living or don't know how to make apartment living more comfortable for themselves. So I promise to do my best to give everyone who reads this account an accurate picture of Village Green.
Pro: The grounds are well maintained
Con: In the summer, the lawn mowers, weed wackers, tree trimmers and water sprinklers are constantly making noise (but only in the day time).
Pro: There is a nice pool, well kept tennis court, exercise room and jacuzzi on site
Con:In the summer, the pool is ruled by kids and stay at home moms, the jacuzzi is not often working and sometimes the tennis courts are used for skateboard or baseball games. Also, the exercise room is in disrepair.
Pro: Maitenance is friendly and quick to respond.
Con: They have a key to your house and can use it whenever they damn well please.
Pro: All appliances are in working order
Con: I only have ONE drawer in my kitchen to put all my utensils, etc.
Pro: Water pressure is fine
Con: Sometimes the toilet won't flush
Pro: Quiet, safe neighborhood
Con: It is a quiet neighborhood because it is in the middle of nowhere (however, I personally like this aspect. If it bothered me, I'd live in the city).
Pro: Close to I-88, Naperville, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, and Aurora.
Con: Naperville, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn and Aurora suck...as does the rest of this dreadful state (and this is why I am moving!)
Pro: Some friendly staff
Con: Most of the staff are downright mean.
Pro: Not an overabundance of dogs or children
Cons: An overabundance of loud, obnoxious, pooping GEESE!!!!
As you can see, there are cons for every pro. Overall, I think VGAC is an O.K. apartment complex. I definitely would NOT call it "luxury" and it IS pretty damn expensive. But, if you consider living here, these are the things I recommend to you:
1)get to like small quiet towns with nothing to do.
2)get a top floor apartment. It is quieter and nobody can peer into your windows.
3) rent in a building farthest from the interstate. (We rarely hear it, but again, we are in a building far from the interstate).
4) Find a nice office representative and latch on to them. Interact and negotiate only with that one person. It will make your life much easier.
5) DON'T break your lease if possible. It will cost you 3 months rent to leave early.
6) Just because it's only 30 miles away, don't expect to get to Chicago in less than 2 hours...no matter what day or time you go.
7) Don't feed the geese!! It only makes things worse for everyone living here. If you do feed them, feed them poison so they will die and not poop everywhere in sight!!
