Don't Believe Them---BUYER BEWARE!!!

I was taken hook, line, and sinker by their "words". This is in regards to being "next for a 2 bedroom and we will slide you over". I found out from other residents they had been given the same promise since November 2006.
When I moved into the one bedroom unit, the air conditioner did not work. It should have been replaced before I moved in!!!
The model they show is really nice but reality of "your" apartment is not even close. 20-30 year old appliances; old, faded carpeting; dark particle board cabinets; nasty, gouged counters; and outdated vinyl flooring from the 70's. They will tell you that other units have been updated. Yeah, after you talk to other apartment dwellers they say the same thing...this is what they were told.
The corporation does not call you back and the office will not give you corporate's number. I will be glad when I am able to pack up and leave. Again, buyer beware since it obvious that Georgetown Commons is hurting for updates and changes.
