I have lived here for almost 2 years. I will be moving out in November 2009. Not because I have any issues but because I'm tired of driving to my work place in Mundelein. So I'm moving closer to work.

My stay here fairly nice. I won't lie, I've had my issues. But they are issues that you'd most probably have just about anywhere. Things like kids playing with the buzzer, or drunk people coming home in the middle of the night and forgetting their keys so they ring all the buzzers and hope someone answers.

There have been times when I've smelled marijuana in the halls and that very day I see a letter on all apartment doors letting everyone know that anyone caught doing marijuana will be kicked.

I've had neighbors having very loud arguments right outside my bedroom window, but again that's not something management can really take care of. And those people are gone now, so someone did something.

There is a laundry facility in each building with 2 washers and 2 dryers. It's nice but with so many apartments, it may be difficult to get a spot.

For laundry I just tend to go to a laundromat, it's just so much nicer and faster, specially if you go early in the morning. Sometimes if I don't have much laundry to do I'll get up early and use the machines here. The one complaint I do have about this is that they don't have a coin machine. So I always have to make sure to get quarters so me other way.

As for maintenance. . . . I've had to call them once in my stay here. My apartment is in the lower floor, and there was some draining problem. Looks like the 2nd and 3rd floor both decided to do quite a bit of draining at the same time and the only way the water found to drain out was by going up my sink and onto my kitchen floor.

I have to admit, I hated this place that day. It took maintenance about an hour to come. In the meantime I was on my own trying to keep the water from spreading to the carpet in the living room.

Finally the Building Manager came by and took care of the plumbing issue and the clean up. Most of it anyway. This issue never did happen again luckily. But I did have to throw away quite a few things because of it. Nothing expensive, so I didn't even bother asking management for any money, so I can't say if they would have given me anything.

Something that did bother me quite a bit is the fact that once they were running one of those referral promotions. I asked them to find an apartment for this friend from church and they did. However I was never around when it came to signing any paperwork or anything and they probably never bothered asking him if anyone referred him. So I never got my $500 for referral.

I believe that good things and bad things will happen no matter where you are. And even though I've had my few issues, I can say that 90% of my time here I've been just fine. No one bothers me. When I've had questions I've emailed management and they've always gotten back to me with my answers.

So I would certainly recommend living here. The grounds are beautiful, I can't talk about the pool since I haven't been to it ever, not because it's not nice, I see plenty of people having fun in it, and that's just my problem, I'm not that good socializing.
