Overall I am really pleased with this apartment complex: requests are handled timely, the office has been easy to deal with and although I don't think it's because of the installation--the building is very quiet. The only major problem I've noticed is that smoke travels from the apartment below us into our bedroom, and being a non smoker it's very irritating and disgusting. Like clockwork at 6am, and 8pm the bedroom fills up with this horrible smoke smell. I've addressed the issue with the office, and they've told me that they're having a meeting on how best to resolve the issue, but I don't think they're taking it seriously as they said it's probably remnants from the last tenants'' I know the halls smelling of smoke is a part of renting, but my bedroom' Too much for me. If they can't fix the problem we're going to have to call in our friend who works for the health dept to find out if there's anything they can enforce. To make a long story short--I'd really love it here if my bedroom didn't smell of smoke. My husband and I would live here until buying if we didn't have that issue.

My husband and I have the same problem with smoke in our bedroom and closet. My eyes were constantly watering. We moved the bed to the opposite side, now the noise from upstairs is right over our heads and we can still smell the smoke.
