I have lived here for almost a year, and have had an excellent living experience. I've lived in a lot of apartments and often have been disappointed, but this place feels like home, and I'm strongly considering staying here even though it is a pretty long commute to my new job. I've been VERY satisfied.
The grounds are beautifully kept and there are ample open spaces on the property to spend time outdoors. There is a pool and tennis courts close by.
The office staff has always been very helpful, friendly, and genuine, not just when they are trying to get you to sign a lease, but all of the time. The few minor maintenance issues I've had have been taken care of within 36 hours.
The parking situation is great! I never have had problems finding parking close to my building, even late at night.
I feel very safe here. The area of Wheaton that this place is located is very nice and safe as well.
The apartments themselves are in very good shape. Nice carpet, appliances are pretty nice. You can tell that they take care of the apartments well. They aren't huge, but are designed very well. Kitchen is a sufficient size, living room is pretty decent size. The bedroom is nice. The walk-in closet is massive. The only drawback is that the bathroom is absolutely tiny. It is very hard for my fiance and I to both try to get ready in the morning in the bathroom. The only other minor drawback is that there isn't a ton of storage space. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and a good-sized pantry. The walk-in closet is good for storage, and there's a small entryway closet and a single shelf in the washer/dryer closet. There is not a linen closet and the medicine cabinet is small.
I don't use the workout facility, but it isn't all that impressive looking. I don't know if the equipment is good or not.
All in all, this is a great place. The staff, grounds, parking situation, amenities, and apartments themselves are all very nice and I definitely would recommend this place.
