I moved into Amli at Danada in 2007. For the most part I had been happy. The maintenence has been excellent. The landscaping is always neat and well kept. The community is very safe. But, the parking near the 77 BLG really stinks!!!! Many times I need to park several buildings away at night. I have complained on several occassions. They have never offered to relocate me. The logistics of the building and the building directly connected is 24 units. The building in front has 2 enterences which also houses 4 additional apartments. Amli allows 16 parking spaces for these 28 apartments to share on this deadend street. Most recently, I made a partial payment for my rent promising to pay the balance by the 15th. I paid by money order. On the 14th, I returned to the rental office and was told that I owed $1600, when I questioned the amount I was told that the money order had been returned outside my door with a note that said, we do not accept partial payment and informing me that I would be turned over to an attorney and be evicted if my rent was not paid by the 12th. I did not recieve either. Amli lost my money order is evicting me. This whole fiasco has costed me over $1100 due to early withdrawl from my 401k and attorney fees. On top of that, I will not have a new money order issued for 30-60 days at the cost of an additional $15 at my expence. Amli will not take responsibility for losing my money order and has not been willing to work with me with the legal issue. I would not recommend Amli because of their unwillingness to work with their tenants in special situations such as this.
