I lived in this apartment for just 6 months and it was the most horrible experience ever.

All appliances were antiques. Doors of all the closets kept falling off and there was no point getting them fixed. From the time I moved in, till I left, there were problems with the taps in the kitchen, bathrooms and the flush was never fixed, though they tried atleast 20 times. We were living on the 3rd floor and it was sizzling hot during summer. Air conditioners were hardly working. They were also antiques...

Carpets were of cheap quality. Dont ever be surprised if you find cockroaches and spiders in the Apartment. Washing machines and dryers were hardly in a working condition. The hallways stink.

We wanted to move out end of a month, which happened to fall on a Wednesday and we had requested the Management to give us time till the weekend to move out, but they wouldnt! They also didnt pay back the deposit amount and said they were deducting money to fix things in the Apaprtment. We had provided a list of things that were broken and were not working in the beginning itself, but they wouldnt just listen!!

Our neighbors below were a menace. They were a group of people living in a 2 bedroom Apt. They always played loud music, were drunk and were shouting obscenities. They made so much noise, that we could hardly ever get any sleep or study or watch TV peacefully. They quarreled with all the neighbors.... Management could not do anything about them. When we called and complained to the management, they asked us to call the cops ourselves. I personally felt very unsafe coming out by myself even during daytime.

I would say, even if you a pay a few dollars more, you can get to live in a very nice apartment around that area.

If you still want an experience of living in HELL, I would suggest this apt.
