I am trying to rent a new apartment in Carol Stream and am waiting on Linda to send them info. The place faxed Linda b/c she said she could only do something if she got a fax and still nothing for a week. WHen I talked to the new place they said that she seemed "hateful" when they talked to her. Well I come to find out that she refuses to do anything until the review below this is removed! And if I change it to a good review that she will fax the new place and give me a good review. THANKS BUT NO THANKS! BLACKMAIL ISN'T GOOD FOR BUSINESS!

Make sure you do not write a bad review of this place...unless of course the new place you rent just tells you to bring in your old lease and it'll be fine :D which they did...

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DEAL WITH NONSENSE LIKE THIS!

While posters are most certainly entitled to post their experiences & opinions, some who have had personal differences seem to be ruining it all for people who come to this site for honest reviews. What I mean is: Giving a "1" to every single category erases any real credibility. Just as all the "5" in other reviews reek of the property managers making biased, skewed posts. Do the Grounds, Noise and Safety (for instance), honestly, deserve "1"s in the previous post? The Maintenance man? Is it really dirty and noisy there? This takes away from this site, and defeats its purpose. And Managers: Please stop posting perfect reviews. It makes one speculate more. Your wording (flowery and flawless) is so obvious, it cancels out any legitimacy, or honesty. Be honest about construction going on, or PITA parking, for instance. Reviews with fairly balanced pros and cons are becoming extinct anymore. One can seperate the honest ratings from angry ones: "Apt. had a spider outbreak but they took care of it; party animals next door all night, but something was done; good maintenance and beautiful grounds, but snow removal was slow ... whatever).
