If you moved in before the constuction, it wasn't a bad place to live. You could hear everything your neighbor was doing, but other than that it was fine. Now, there is constant noise(jack hammers, drills, etc..) The renovations look awful. They just added new carpet that makes you dizzy when you walk down the hall. Horrible 3-shaded brown.
We are happy that they have stopped shutting off the water for 9 hours a day. We are not happy that they would not compensate us in any way while they denied us from using the garage that we paid for.
After the renovations are complete, everyone's rent is going up $200. This is coming from Ms. Cookie at the office. Another source who's name I vowed to keep secret told me that anyone's unit that is not renovated by 2010 will be forced to move into a unit that already is. Then you can opt to move back into your old, but updated unit.I see a lot of people getting pissed and leaving by then.
