I recently moved into Woodland Creek Apartments in Wheeling. I work at a large company in the area and several of my co-workers live here also (that is how I found out about Woodland Creek). I read all of the negative comments about the property on apartment ratings and asked my co-workers about them. Always one to check things out on my own, I drove around the property to "Scope" it out after hours before making a decision to tour the property. I found tons of extra parking - even at 11 pm when I drove through the property. As my co-workers said, the parking lot is brand new and I did not find any potholes. To make a long story short, I decided to tour the property. I toured the property with the manager - she was very nice and answered all of my questions. I leased and moved into the property a couple of months ago. I have been very happy with the property so far. I am in Building 6 on the 5th floor. Very quiet. I have a great underground parking space (an extra $100 per month). I sometimes smell the neighbor's cooking in the hallways but not in my apartment. I love my apartment - it is very open and has great closet space. The office staff seems friendly enough and I have not had any maintenance issues. It is like living in a park, the property has a basketball court, softball field, 6 tennis courts, a racquetball court, a private lake ( I have even gone fishing on it), paved jogging trail, saunas, 3 pools. I know that I have only been here for a couple of months, but so far, I love it!
