Pretty good

I just purchases a 3-bedroom, 2-bath Condo with the full upgrades($180,000). The remodling was done very good...I love the hardwood floors throughout and the kitchen is really nice. They let me pick all the tiles and cabinets, and each condo has a washer and dryer in-unit(sweet!) The rooms are a nice size too...I was able to fit a king bed, 2 dressers and 2 nightstands, along with a TV stand in the master bedroom and still have enough room to walk around it without feeling cramped. The living room area is a decent size as well and the appliances in the kitchen work really well (GE brand, brushed stainless steel) I couldnt be happier with their work and for the price, you can't find a 3-bedroom condo in this area with a brand new kitchen, new appliances, hardwood floors throughout and tile'd bathrooms w/ whirlpool. The people that live here are a mix of families and professionals and my neighbors seem nice enough..no problems thus far.
The location is also a bonus..its right on Kingery and 2 minutes to Cass Ave and I-55, so you can't complain about that. I live all the way in the most western building..which is really nice because it is bordered on two sides by the forest preserve and we litterally have to walk 1 minute to get onto the awesome hiking trails behind the building. Its also pet friendly, with many people owning dogs and there they also have a pool(which I wont be using probably since I just joined Lifetime Fitness, which is 8 minutes down the road) It appears as though they are trying to make improvements...recently they have begun working on landscaping and are going to power-wash and paint all of the wood balconies. Dispite what other posters have said here, the 3-4 times I have called the management, they have always sent a very helpful worker out to fix things or had my issues addressed within the same day or next day. The only thing that I can say 'worries' me is that it seems like they keep renting places out, instead of selling them all as condos...but, I can't blame them for trying to make money from renters until they actual do have buyers in this market. Other then that, I am satisfied. Its over 50% converted already, and I would give it another 1-2 years before they are all condo's hopefully.
I'd highly recommend buying a condo her if you are looking for a great deal and want all new features in your place.
