Charges here and charges there... that's the spirit of AMLI!!! True, it's beautiful and they host lots of fun community events, BUT you'll pay for it through the nose!!! Expect misc. fees every other month for various undescribed "services." And then expect random fees and yes, "RECOVERY" fees too for retro things that they feel you're responsible for four-six months down the road. Save time and just record everything (like utility transfers etc.)!!! And then finally have an attorney review the lease before you sign it. There are little things that the leasing agent won't tell you upfront. Ask about the stipulations of concessions, for example. This place is expensive, and then they hit with extra charges all over the place. So-- if you decide that you MUST live here: 1. Plan to spend $200.00 plus for these extra fees and service charges on top on rent and utilities every month. 2. Read and know your lease. Or better yet - have a lawyer review it. 3. Keep records.
