We lived here for 2 years. The first year was OK. The management did backround checks and any complaint they took care of right away. The second year a new management company took over and that is when everything went down hill. They do not do backround checks anymore and they do not handle problems at all! The person below us played her music all night. We went to the office and besides being very rude, they told us that they couldn't do anything and to call the police. We did, twice, they made complaints to the office and we went back and said she is still playing her music all night. They said that they wouldn't do anything and to keep calling the police. Until the day we moved out the problem was never fixed and they renewed her lease.
Gang signs are sprayed everywhere and while the police try their best the complex didn't remove them until 6 months later saying it was too cold and expensive to remove them.
Parking is a joke. I worked midnights and I would have to park down our street and around a corner with half of the street lamps out to get to my apartment. Our lock was broken on the outside door and when I went to use the laundry machine a group of kids were hanging out in the hall that didn't live there.
The final straw is when a gang member moved in across the hall and had huge parties and pot smoke filled our apartment and the halls but everyone was too afraid to call the police.
If you have to live here be aware of your surroundings and do not walk around at night because a mugger is living in this area. We found out from a police officer patroling the area not from the complex.
